Michelle Zaragoza is the Marketing and Development Coordinator for Valley Center for the Blind doing fundraising and community outreach. She has been volunteering for over 18 years and has worked in nonprofit professionally since 2012. Michelle moved to Fresno in 2004 from a small town called Manteca in Northern California and has since made it her home because although Fresno is a big city it has a small town feel and has been able to make a strong connection to the community here. Michelle has worked with Trauma Intervention program as the Executive director and Volunteer Manager providing on-scene support to traumatized individuals after an emergency and Regional Manager for the Burn Foundation providing recreational therapy for burn survivors and burn prevention to the community. Michelle also sat on the Fresno Fire Chiefs Foundation board for 3 years.
