Dr. Kim Vuong is an optometrist at Eye Q Vision Care specializing in low vision rehabilitation. Dr. Vuong provides primary eye care and ocular disease management in Fresno and Selma.

Dr. Vuong received her undergraduate degree in molecular cell biology from University of California, Berkeley graduating Magna Cum Laude with honors. She received her Doctor of Optometry from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry. Dr. Vuong completed her residency in primary care and low vision at Southern Arizona VA Health Care System. She then went on to complete a two-year research fellowship studying the relationship between retinal anatomy and visual function in early age-related macular degeneration patients at Boston VA Health Care System.

As a native Californian and UC Berkeley alum, Dr. Vuong is a fan of the 49ers, SF Giants and Cal Bears. She is an avid foodie who loves exploring out-of-the-way restaurants in search of the next amazing meal. At home, Dr. Vuong enjoys cooking and crafting with the help of her two cats.  In her spare time, she loves exploring the Central Valley with her husband and dog or taking day trips to Yosemite.
