Reynaldo is known as Rey the tech guy. I am legally blind; I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) an eye disease in which the back wall of the eye (retina) is damaged in 3rd grade. I was a client who received instruction in Independent Living Skills here at VCB, and later started volunteering that lead to me being a VCB Intern. I am now employed by VCB as a programs Assistant/Assistive Technology (AT) Instructor. My passion has always been in technology and assisting others. This is why I have pursued a career in teaching AT and continue my studies as an Educational instructor. My other passions are sports and going out to enjoy what the world has to offer me. My greatest desire as an instructor is to make a difference in someone’s life and help them gain confidence in their abilities to navigate the challenges that maybe presented to them as someone that is visually impaired.
